Meet the Team
Luke Blahnik
Has lived in Chicago since 2006 and offers extensive expertise in strategic acquisition, thinking outside the box and getting creative in finding properties off the beaten path. Luke has a substantial background in helping clients find the best real estate investments, rehabs, and value-add projects.
Before moving over to @properties, Luke started Blahnik Properties, a full service residential brokerage in 2009 where he focused on acquiring property through distressed channels such as auction, bank owned properties, and short sales. He led the acquisition and rehab of dozens of properties, and has extensive construction experience.
Luke's current passion project is Avondale Bowl, an 8-lane vintage bowling alley in the Avondale neighborhood of Chicago, which he restored in 2019. When Luke isn’t out scouting for new investment projects, he and his wife enjoy checking out new restaurants with their son in Logan Square, the neighborhood they call home.
Anthony Flora
Moved from Spain via Indiana to Chicago in 2011 and immediately fell in love with Chicago’s unique nuances. Anthony got his start in the hotel management industry and then transitioned to real estate, bringing with him an extensive hospitality and customer service acumen.
Whether it is purchasing a first home or adding a multi-unit to an investment portfolio, Anthony understands that it is about accomplishing his clients’ goals, and not just a transaction taking place. He works tirelessly to find that vintage gem or a creative way to market new construction, ensuring his clients are 100% taken care of from the very first steps to far beyond the closing date.
When Anthony isn’t busy being a University of Michigan football fanatic, you can catch him on the “Goaltimate” field playing competitive Frisbee or enjoying an Old Fashioned somewhere in Logan Square, where he lives.
John Westbrook
Native from NW Indiana, John moved to Chicago 6 years ago to pursue real estate and experience all that our beautiful city has to offer. He has lived in Logan Square since the move, drawn to the sweeping boulevard systems, Sunday farmer’s markets, and excellent food and nightlife. John started his real estate career with BJB Properties in 2014, there he learned property management, the value of investing in multi-family real estate, and the trend of where people want to live in Chicago.
John has been investing in multi-family real estate in Logan Square, Avondale, Humboldt Park, and West Town since 2015. Whether your goals are to owner-occupy, invest in multi-family, or buy your first home; John is excited to bring value to you. He brings expertise in creating value through buying right, property rehabs, property management techniques, and understanding market trends.

Alex Gastevich
Is a native of Lincoln Park and has held his real estate license since 2014. He employs a multifaceted approach to delivering the best service to his clients by combining a deep understanding of the financial markets as well as the macro and micro factors that drive the real estate market. Alex originally obtained his real estate license in order to help facilitate the acquisition of multifamily properties for a family-owned investment company. Over time, friends and colleagues approached him for help wanting someone with a first-hand knowledge of the ever-changing Chicago real estate landscape.
Alex’s goal is to continue to provide the best service for his clients while being a resource for every aspect of their real estate objectives.
jake elkins-ryan
With over a decade of experience as a contractor, investor, and property manager, Jake has helped clients achieve their goals as homebuyers and investors. His industry knowledge stems from a relentless passion for real estate and the skills accumulated and honed over a decade of managing multifamily and commercial properties all over the city. Bobby White
Developed a passion for rehabbing and flipping properties over 6 years ago when he began his career in real estate. He owns and operates multiple rental properties around Chicago and offers his clients a high-level expertise on investment properties and value add opportunities, as well as traditional sales and purchases. Bobby joined the F|B Group and @properties the summer of 2019 and has been a valuable asset offering extensive knowledge and insight on investing and leveraging his client’s portfolios. When Bobby isn’t walking the sidewalks of Chicago scouting for new flip projects or selling houses you can find him hitting the ice a couple times a week playing in a hockey rec league, enjoying a game of golf, or checking out new restaurants with his wife Amy in West Town, where they live.
abby hobbs | Operations manager
Abby was born in Oxford, England and has spent a large portion of her life living in England as well as Spain. She got her degree in Art History and spent a number of years teaching at an international school in Valencia, Spain. She is married and has two children, ages 21 and 19. She joined Flora Blahnik in 2022 and when she isn’t being a mom, or helping Flora Blahnik keep on track, she enjoys spending time doing pilates and swimming, reading, and exploring new facets of plant-based cooking!
VICKY CASS
Vicky has lived in Chicago for the past 13 years after originally moving from Arizona. With over 20 years working in hotel management and having accumulated a wealth of sales and event planning experience, Vicky has become an expert at building long term, loyal relationships by listening to clients’ values and needs. Vicky always delivers personalized experiences by being exceptionally organized and by prioritizing clear and open communication. Through her passion for hospitality and laser focus on details, Vicky ensures the fast-paced world of real estate is accessible, and she’ll leave no stone unturned in order to meet her clients’ goals.
An alum from Kansas State University (Go Cats!), Vicky enjoys watching sports and staying active with yoga and fitness classes in West Town. She balances her active lifestyle with frequenting the “hidden gems” known only to Chicago locals and she is always on an adventure to find the best espresso martini.
KELLY ANN SHANAHAN
Born and raised in Illinois, Kelly Ann lives and breathes the Midwest lifestyle and culture. Always ready to help those around her, her background in customer service and her desire to make people smile were the building blocks in her decision to pursue real estate. As former Director of Communications in her most recent career, Kelly Ann prides herself on her sharp communication skills and always making sure the people she works with, especially her clients, are on the same page.

myles o’brien
Born and raised in Chicago, Myles has extensive knowledge of the city. Myles comes from a background in property management and real estate investment. Before joining @properties, Myles led a business development team at a cutting-edge property technology start-up and was an analyst for one of Chicago’s top commercial real estate portfolios.
Myles’ passion for beautiful vintage buildings and thoughtful redevelopments stems from his upbringing in a restored late 1800s two-flat in Wrigleyville. He promises to help clients with creative solutions for any real estate project and provide service that extends beyond closing.
Educated at the Francis W. Parker School of Chicago and The University of Miami with a degree in Business Entrepreneurship and History. He is experienced in commercial and industrial real investment estate at MK Asset Management, real estate private equity at Andes STR, and multi-family property management at Arnel, Inc.
When Myles is not working in real estate, he designs and creates bespoke luxury products for his brand Mocah Design. He is also a Chicago sports fanatic, film enthusiast, and aspiring photographer. At the very least, you can count on him for a restaurant or movie recommendation.
KIVA WENIG
Kiva, a Midwest native, discovered his passion for real estate upon returning to Chicago in 2014 after living in Colorado.
As an owner and manager of multi-family investment property, and an Airbnb in the Ukrainian Village, Kiva applies his extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for real estate to assist each of his clients with their unique needs. Whether listing or searching for a first home, a downtown condo, or an investment property, Kiva works tirelessly to ensure an exceptional client experience and goes above and beyond to surpass expectations.
